I am a retired military veteran. I served in the United States Army for 24 years and this is how they treat a Veteran? BEWARE!!!! Do not utilize this facility, they are a rip off; crooks! There website claims they are a family owned business dedicated to the community. My @ss!!! These people steal money and give no refund when you vacate early. STAY AWAY!!! I used their website to pay my monthly bill and for some reason the payment did not go through. I did not know the payment was declined because from my end it went through. You get a 15 day grace period before you are late. I got called the day after to see if I was going to pay my bill. I explained that I paid at the beginning of the month. The guy on the phone even stated he could see that I attempted to pay but my card was declined. I do not know how my debt card was declined when I have plenty of money in my checking account. Hmmmm maybe it was their website? That was not an option though. So I paid what I owed plus a $10 late fee. I was a little upset over being charged a late fee when I truly tried to pay on time. No customer support what so ever and this line about being here for the community. Huh, to rip them off. Whats not to say their website messed up when I tried to pay. The guy flat out did not care and was a real smart @ss asking me if I was giving my 5 day notice. My reply was YES! He said ok and we hung up. He took my money and then I come to find out there is no refund to early vacate. Wow! Then when I asked for the owners name and contact information they would not provide anything. So, I am doing the next best thing, advertising. I will provide feedback and reviews anywhere I can find to leave my story. Hopefully this helps others out there considering using this facility. I went to Acorn Storage on Franklin Blvd in Meridian, a lot cheaper anyway and if I give a notice to vacate in the middle of the month they will refund the money. Talk to Jenna in the office she is awesome! I should of went to Acorn in the first place I usually use them but Stor-it was closer to home and I thought I would give them a try. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME they are rip offs.
