My brother and new sister in law were married in early June 2009. The next day they left for Cabo San Lucas for their honeymoon, where family joined them 5 days later. Upon their return, the resort wanted them at the airport in excess of 4 hours early. The shuttle driver told them that it would be his last drive out that day. (nothing more) They chose to get their own cab and go later. They arrived at the airport 2 hours early and were given different stories, One, they missed their flight, and, that their flight had been cancelled, never to this day getting a straight answer. My sister called Selina their travel agent. (who by the way first booked them in a swingers singles resort for their honeymoon!!) When told what was going on and asked what to do she laughed (YES, LAUGHED!) and told them she didn't give a S#!t what they did and hung up on her. Her boss was then called on for help, since by this time the family was very worried and stressed as the airport had the mexican fererali's watching them closely) He was kind enough to put them up in a cochroach inhabited hotel and only pay for 4 of the 8 of them. They had to pay 20.00 each for the others, 20.00 ea for eight for a 3 piece salad that the hotel called a buffet meal, over an addtional 100.00 for another cab ride back to the airport the next day, Where they got put on scattered flights with one of them being a will call. This was a very traumatic situation to be in, this agency had thousands of our dollars and did next to nothing to ease or eliveate the situation. They were very incompassionate for a first time out of the country family. As a result, THIS WAS THE ENDING TO WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN OTHERWISE BEAUTIFUL HONEYMOON.
