This restaurant belongs in Aspen, Telluride, etc.--not Louisville. But I'm delighted it's here! I cannot think of anything we haven't absolutely loved: calamari salad (one of the best salads I've had in a long time, even better than the grilled salads in Denver's best restaurants); lettuce wedge salad with the perfect amount of blue cheese (perfect); big thick pork chop (from Salmon Creek Farms in Idaho) on top of creamy cheese polenta (both melted in my mouth); flatiron steak perfectly prepared with a tomato butter and panzanella that slowly soaked into the garlic rubbed croutons for an incredible ending; gnocchi that even my five year old is talking about; polenta crusted onions (order that as soon as you walk in the door); THEN...sit back and wait for the best desserts you've had in a very long time (no exaggerating). If you don't try the warm chocolate cake you're missing out huge. Strawberry rhubarb crumble a close second. I'm so sick of mediocre restaurants in Louisville, Broomfield, etc. It's about time we get something I'm proud to have in my home town......I'm excited to bring my friends and family when they are in town. Pros: Third time we've gone...third time completely blown away Cons: None....great food, great staff, kid friendly
