Review content:
I hired Triangle Moving for a local move in Cary because initially I was very pleased with the rep who contacted me and made the arrangements. However, follow up customer service was extremely disappointing and left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I was initially quoted a price for a two-man, three-hour move that I thought was good (compared to other quotes I received). The day before my move, someone from Triangle Moving contacted me and said that based on the itemized list and details I provided (weeks earlier) he recommended that I actually use three men. While the hourly rate would be higher, he said in the end it would save me money. I appreciated that and agreed. \r \r Long story short, the third man didn't actually show up for the first half of the move. In the end it cost me twice as much time and twice as much money (literally). Additionally, I had requested in advance that they reassemble some furniture. The movers were never advised of that and I was left with furniture in pieces. Since it was the weekend there was no one in the office to contact while all this was taking place. I was left in a tight spot with three men in my home expecting cash payment for work they had completed. \r \r I contacted Martin in the office after the move to complain. After I explained in detail what happened, he apologized for the poor planning on his staff's side and promised to call me back the following week to let me know what they could do for me. He never called; what I got instead was a letter in the mail with a $50 refund (on a $700 move) and a coupon for $50 off my next move. As if I would ever move with them again or recommend them to a friend!\r \r I will say that the movers themselves were courteous and handled my things well. But I still wouldn't hire them again. Pros: Polite, courteous guys that handled the actual move Cons: Horrible service from the owners/operators; mismanagement
