Pasta Italia is one of the finest restaurants in the Memphis area. We have not eaten at all the finest places in Memphis, therefore I am reluctant to say it is the finest, but it is indeed one of the finest. Having moved here from Chicago, we are always seeking places where we would be comfortable taking guests - this certainly is one of those places. The dining room is small and intimate. The wine list is all Italian and very good, providing good wines for every taste and budget. We dined there for Valentine's and enjoyed the seven course Valentine's dinner. It was wonderful. The portions were appropriate so that you didn't feel uncomfortable at the conclusion of the meal. The service was great and the chef was very gracious, agreeing to meet us briefly after dinner. \r

We will likely return on another occasion simply because we loved it so much. I highly recommend Pasta Italia as very nice, authentic fine Italian dining. Excellent!
