My girlfriend and I ate here twice(!) on an overnight trip to Dallas (dinner one night and lunch the next day.) We tried a lot of things: marinated crab claws, famous slaw, raw oysters, grilled oysters (so good!), seafood gumbo, house salad, fried catfish, blackened shrimp, jambalaya (my favorite), fish tacos. We were impressed with every single thing we tried. If you've never had grilled oysters, try them here! The only thing we didn't try, but wanted to, was the bread pudding. We were just too full.\r

The place was awesome! The service was so great. We had about three different waitresses, but they were all so nice, kept checking on us, and we never went without anything. It wasn't busy at all. We'll definitely be heading back to Dodie's each time we go to Dallas.
