Review content:
I have had the pleasant experience of dining at La Fourno as a patron of the restaurant and as part of a group from my office held in the private dining room. It is rare to find a restaurant that can provide food and service for a private party that is equal to that which is offered to the individual diner. La Fourno excels at both. The food, from pizza to filet mignon, is prepared with only the freshest ingredients by a highly skilled chef which results in a culinary delight for even the most finicky diner. Outstanding customer service appeared to be the primary goal of the owner and waitstaff, along with serving the most delicious food you can find in Philly. Another surprising bonus is how reasonable the prices are. Although I live and work in Wilmington, Delaware, which is 30 minutes away (when I-95 isn't gridlocked), the dining experience is more than worth the travel time. My coworkers were so pleased with our recent office party at La Fourno that many plan on returning on their own. We have only one complaint - It's not close enough for us to go there on our lunch breaks!
Pros: Great private dining room for parties
