Take the sushi making class!!
I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday after seeing the episode of Throwdown! with Bobby Flay. Offered once a month, it's the best hands-on sushi making and eating experience you can ask for! The fish was so fresh, I can't wait to go back again. Sushi Central truly is a cut above the rest. You won't be disappointed.
The class: Phillip Yi is informative, entertaining, and an excellent teacher. As a ""student"" you get an in depth lesson on sushi history, etiquette, and preparation while you watch the day's fish and sushi rice are prepared before your eyes, then it's hands-on sushi making time! Everything you need is provided, so just bring yourself and your appetite! Call a head to reserve your space as the classes are purposely kept small.
Oh- and his spicy tuna rolls are to die for! (even better, he teaches you how to make them!)
Pros: Freshest fish, friendiest atomosphere, most flavorful combos
Cons: cons: Phillip Yi is not my personal sushi chef
