Review content:
I called the number associated with SCMS to get some basic information on hair removal and I was surprised that it wasn't someone that could provide me with a pure sales pitch. They answered all of my questions, addressed any of my concerns, and by the time I went into the location in Newport I felt prepared. The office itself is straightforward, they perform a consultation, quote you a price, and for me they even began my treatments immediately. The process used is one with suction and a laser, so it apparently doesn't hurt as much as other methods--not having used anything else I couldn't say whether that statement is 100% accurate, but for me its painless. A pin prick and a slight bit of heat, repeat a few times and I'm done. I would say my treatments last perhaps 15 minutes and the office staff is always courteous and friendly. The technicians seem to rotate based on their shifts, but each of the ones I've used (been through four different appointments) has been cool, friendly, and up front about what's being done and help pass the time with idle chit chat. I've recommended the procedure, and the location, to a handful of family and friends and figured it was worthwhile putting something up for those I don't know. If you're hesitant at all about the procedure, you should check this location out. You won't regret it.
