Review content:
After being put off by two different dentists in the Mesa-Tempe area, I stopped going to the dentist. When it came time for my son to have his first check-up, I had no idea where to take him. I had dropped by several offices, just to see what they were like in the waiting area. At nearly all of them, I had seen signs stating parents were not welcome in the exam room. That didn't sit will with me. I spoke to a friend at work who said she always went back with her son (even though he was 12) and she really liked her dentist. That is how I became aware of Dr. Bretzing. I took my son in for his first dental appointment and was so impressed. Dr. Bretzing explained everything he was doing to my son, but used kid-friendly words. When he had to go back to get a filling, Dr. Bretzing told him the drill was a special shower that chased out all the sugar bugs. My son is not afraid of the dentist. My step-son also went for his first visit. Even after going back several times for a root canal and fillings, he is also unafraid. I finally drug myself back in to the dentist as well, after having sworn them off because I liked Dr. Bretzing so much. I told him I hadn't been to dentist in years and why. He was very happy to try to change my opinion. He did. He is a wonderful dentist, very nice and funny and has a great "chairside" manner. I would highly recommend him for adults or children
