Review content:
After getting a few bids from different sign companies in Portland, OR - I was unfortunate enough to pick the worst one available. On the surface Meyers Sign Company appeared professional and eager to earn our business. We were purchasing 2 lit up channel letters signs and an electronic message center (total value of almost $15,000). This was supposed to be a pretty simple project. We had a brand new building. And Meyers Sign Company was contracted almost 6 months prior to installation. However, it turned into our worst nightmare. The Company missed their install schedule many times. When they showed up - they didn't have enough people to do the install. When they did finally install the signs - they did not work. Overall it cost us over 100 men hours to provide access and coordinate this installation. When the signs still did not work by our Grand Opening - I tried to get on the phone with Danny (the owner). I was quite frustrated at this point... That was one problem I did not need to deal with on such crucial day. I figured, that perhaps Danny wasn't aware of some stuff that had been going on; and he would be more than willing to help. Boy, was I wrong! He did not want to hear me at all. Instead he started screaming and cussing at me, and not allowing me to say a word. Unfortunately, even after the ordeal the signs continued malfunctioning. It took Meyers Sign Company almost another 6 months to finally get them to work. After working for about 4 months one of the signs went dark. The Company is now refusing to warranty their product, even though it is in their contract that they have to warranty their work for 2 years. We are now having to call a different sign company to repair this not even a year-old sign. And we are planning to file a claim with CCB against Meyers Sign Co. DO NOT USE MEYERS SIGN CO! EVEN IF IT IS THE LAST SIGN COMPANY ON THE PLANET!!!
