Businiess name:  Sushi & Maki

If you want great sushi, quality service, entertaining quirky music (think Bee Gees & Barbra Streisand) in a sweet little place, then this is your restaurant. None of that hokey sushi restaurant train stuff, no mystery plates driving by with color coding. Just a high quality menu, fresh produce & fish all the time, very friendly staff & almost always speedy service. Never smells like seafood, and offers lots of menu choices in both sushi & traditional japanese dishes. Great for take-out too! I've brought my toddler here numerous times and I would say it's reasonably kid friendly, and can accomodate a smaller group, maybe 15 or so max. Take your friends & family and share this hidden secret in Hillsboro. Beats the heckfire out of Sushi Town or Mio or any other posh wanna-be sushi place. Pros: yum, good food, cute decor, good prices, great service, consistent quality Cons: parking
