Review content:
I went in for a joint injury that had occurred the prior week and was subsequently causing me tremendous pain. For $120 the practitioner (I feel like this title is not deserved) simply looked at the joint and remarked 'yeah, it's swollen'. Adequate history was not taken nor were all pertinent questions asked. The joint was never rotated, touched nor did they have me attempt to use the joint to see the way it was limiting me. On top of it, I doubt the sterility when the practitioner attempted to tap my joint - I was scrubbed for less time with betadine then I am when I donate to the red cross (infection of the joint is is a very serious problem and I felt like the joint was compromised). \r

It was a terrible experience. Yes, I got in and out promptly but for the additional $280 on top of the $120 I felt completely cheated. At this point, there still is no answer to the pain - hopefully it will resolve over time but the steroid injection that the practitioner performed without even looking at the joint is not resolving the issue.\r

Summation: Inadequate exam, treatment, preventative care plan and apathetic practitioner
Pros: quick and convenient
Cons: inadequate care
