I agree with one of the other reviewers. The last time I ate at Liberties several years go the food was good and had gotten a good review.
I also live in the neighborhood. Anyway, I had lunch here today (3/06).
My friend and I were totally disappointmented in the food. I had fish and chips.
It was served on the cold side. My girlfriend's hamburger didn't taste that great either.
The restaurant was somewhat busy and there were no bussers. The waiters were expected to do everything. I don't think it's a good idea to be cleaning and then serving food. Not sure how much hand washing was done. Also they seemed to be understaffed, so service was slow but it wasn't the waiter's fault.
Anyway, I don't recommend eating here. Probably just a good place to have a beer.
