Businiess name:  George's Appliance Co

Review content:
I found the bad reviews here to be accurate. Today, I got my own dose of George's Appliance's hilarious customer service. Electrolux matched me up with them to evaluate what's going on with my fridge, which is still under warranty. They told me to call these guys to confirm my appointment,... and that's when the twilight zone episode begins: I get a guy named ""Mark"" who asked me for the exact purchase date - he didn't ask me what's wrong. Cared more about who was going to pay him. So I said, 'ok, I thought you wanted me to call to confirm my appt. Why are you concerning me with your issues with Electrolux?' Ultimately, the conversation was going nowhere, so I called Electrolux and asked them why they made me call this company, when it was obvious they did not want to serve me. Electrolux contacted George's and got us all on a 3way call. Then things got weirder: Basically, Genius Mark's reasoning is that I should cancel my appt if I think my fridge is doing OK (in other words, I diagnose my own fridge), and continues to threaten that if they come and the fridge seems OK then they'll diagnose it as OK.... and then he brought up his initial worries -- in an argumentative tone-- of how he was going to get paid. There was no talking to this guy. I told the Electrolux agent to have better vendor management because it was totally unacceptable that their vendor was behaving this way in front of their customer. He obviously did not care about my problem, and seemed already resolved on (a) finding nothing, or (b) not even coming. So Genius Mark calls his supervisor (yes, he actually had the nerve to be the one to call his supervisor -- who turned out to be just another monkey). The supermonkey comes on and starts scolding the Electrolux rep. When I said 'hello, I'm still here, and it's your staff who could not be talked to"", he turned on me and told me to shut up because he's not talking to me. Then at some point he asked if he could explain the situation, and I said 'Ok but you're on my time. I just want my fridge fixed."" Supermonkey then yelled, 'OK, then I can't help you', and hung up. Unbelievable. GEORGE'S APPLIANCES, HERE'S A PIECE OF ADVICE: YOU ARE IN THE SERVICES BUSINESS. GO GET SOME PEOPLE SKILLS AND PROFESSIONALISM IF YOU WISH TO SURVIVE. OTHERWISE, YOU MIGHT AS WELL FILE FOR BANKRUPTCY. GET A CLUE: YOU'RE PICKING UP THE PHONE BECAUSE YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE STUCK IN THE OFFICE NOT SERVICING CUSTOMERS. GO FIGURE. Pros: Someone picks up the phone Cons: Not worth talking to - Unprofessional, No customer service
