Review content:
Imagine walking into a gym and not seeing any fitness equipment. No treadmills, elliptical, exercise bikes or small gym sets. Just barbells, dumbbells, kettle bells, jump ropes, climbing ropes, huge tires, punching bags, plyometric boxes, and pull up bars. At CrossFit Xystum, they “don’t use machines, they make them.” Judy Fitzgerald has been training people around Escondido and the neighboring cities for the past 2 years in this facility. The goal is to turn the average person into an athlete and the athlete into an elite .The center is open to all ages and has programs designed for specific age groups. There are programs for 9-11, 11-14 year olds.
Patrick Mara, a head trainer, described their programs as “constantly varied high functional workouts.” This place is not like any gym you have been to. It is personal training but in a group setting. You do not go in and just workout on whatever you want to. There is a weekly schedule to follow at certain time slots and members perform the activities listed. Programs start as early as 5 am and run all the way until 8 pm.They showed me some of the exercises they perform and they sure do look intense!
Members work together and push each other to fulfill their goals. The environment is friendly and competitive. Everyone has a goal and that is to do their best and become stronger, physically and mentally. You’re surrounded with great people and trainers! What more could you ask for?
Stop by and start training your body with this unique system. You’ll push your body to limits it has never reached before and you will only benefit the rewards. Join CrossFit Xystum to change your life for the better!
