Over the past several years, our 3 children have attended Good Beginnings School. We had children in both pre-school classrooms and both Junior Kindergarten classrooms. The school is clean and the director and her staff are very well organized, but more importantly, the teachers and programs are wonderful. My children instantly bonded with their teachers and excelled in their classrooms. They really progressed in the academic time during the school year and enjoyed the more relaxed programs during the summers. Field trips were taken year round - to go apple picking and the planetarium just to name 2 of the field trips in the 2010-2011 school year. We have twins at the school presently, and they offer 2 different Junior Kindergarten classrooms that are perfect for our girls. They have time together on the playground, and time to be independent in their classrooms. They have one playground for the younger pre-school set, and another playground with larger equipment for the Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten set. Older school-aged children join the school in the summers for camp. Specialized lessons (soccer, piano, creative arts, hip hop, ballet, swimming) are available. It's great to have my children in soccer, dance, and swimming during the school day - as it preserve family time on the weekends for activities as a family. The Junior Kindergarten teachers have taught my girls lots of songs this year, sometimes accompanied by the guitar or student-made bells. In addition to great programs, the teachers offer a lot of love. Hugs are never far away! If I had more kids, they'd be going to Good Beginnings School too!! We've had kids at Good Beginnings school for the last 5 years...and I know we'll be associated with the school's summer program in the future too. I hope you find the right school for your family. If you're in the market, GB is definitely a gem.
