I came to Alberto after a recommendation from a friend who has beautiful hair and is very picky. I was tired of paying $400+ for a haircut and highlights from Jeffrey at Umi Salon in Boston. I know it's a huge change going from Newbury Street to Framingham! All I can say is that the saying: ""don't judge a book by it's cover"" is very true. Alberto listened to what I wanted, gave wonderful suggestions, and I left with hair that was just as good, if not better, than what I had experienced at Umi and for only $100! After several visits with Alberto, we did some pretty complex hair color, which did increase by bill to about $160, but still less than half of what I had been paying. At Salon Alberto, you are paying for Alberto's talent. Don't expect a luxury salon with a fancing reception area and snotty receptionists. There is nothing fancy about this salon. In fact, Alberto usually answers the phone himself! Alberto is wonderful, very friendly and knowledgable. I recently moved away from Boston and will miss him quite a lot. Give this place a chance!
