I hired them to replace an aluminum Chimney Chase Cover which was rusting with a stainless steel Chase cover with life time rust warranty. The Chase Cover started showing severe signs of rusting within 30 days. Send them emails of the rusting cover. First they admitted it looks like rust then changed their tune and started blaming that my Chimney is not clean. This is in August when I don't use my heater and when I don't use my fireplace. I complained couple of times and they would make appointments and not show up. I then hired someone else to clean my chimney just in case. The guy told me that my chimney was clean and did not need cleaning. I told him to go ahead and do it anyway and he gave me in writing that the chimney did not need cleaning. He also mentioned that stainless steel does not discolor like this. I called the company again and they stuck to their story. In addition to this I also have a leak on one of my flues. At this point I have given up on them and I am filing a complain against them with NY Consumer Fraud Bureau.
