Review content:
What a horrible experience! First, the total due was $300 more than proposal. Then, they delayed giving us a current Disclosure Notice & reduced the bond amount from $10,000 to $6,000. They also made a big hole in our wall, saying we needed to repair it. Due to their errors, they had to do 2 templates. 5 days later, they called saying we gave them the wrong measurements, so we needed to buy another slab ($1300), or our counter would have seams (although the contract states a template would be made to check measurements & the counters would not have seams) My husband resolved the issue by figuring out a new layout. The next day the Owner called saying the granite fabrication was delayed because of us so installation needed to be rescheduled. We again referred him to the contract, but he said it was our fault, and we needed to decide on a new date. Since we already paid 75%, we felt we had no other option. After the existing counter demo, the Owner called again saying we needed more work (@ $730+). We paid the final balance due and picked up the fabricated granite/remnants, backsplash, & sink. We notified them that 5’ of backsplash was missing; they said we could buy more for $220. BUYERS BEWARE!
