Review content:
I have friends and a relative living at the Joseph House in Fitchburg, MA. Before the current site manager was hired some years ago, Joseph House was a community of people who got along well together and loved their homes. In the past several years the manager has become a bully to the poor elderly people. They are disrespected, threatened, harassed, bossed around, and treated terribly. There are convicted felons living at Joseph House, there are drugs and other unsavory things going on there. The place is smelly, filthy and moldy, and there is a stench of tobacco smoke everywhere. Every good maintenance man who has been hired and tried to clean the place up has been fired in less than six months. They have such a high vacancy rate now that they're offering bonuses to residents to encourage their family members and friends to move in. Really? I'd rather move to a nursing home than live in that horrible place.
