As a night owl I'm always on the look out for new places to tame my buzz at 4am. As a chef in Nashville, I bring a critical eye to everywhere I eat. Paradise Park has far and away exceeded my hopes for Nashville's newest 24-hour joint. No offense to local standards the Hermatige Cafe and Cafe Coco, but the food is amazing. Whether it's a Singlewide cheeseburger at 2 am, or an early breakfast for work, I've found myself becoming a regular at a place that's only been open a week. The food is fresh, not frozen. Hand breaded chicken tenders and certified angus burgers highlight the menu. The veggie burger is easily the best I've ever had. A creamy blend of mushrooms, garlic, black beans, and cayenne spice a patty nestled between a comprehensive burger set (onions, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, mustard, ketchup, and pickles). The sliced deli meat and hot dogs, are Boar's Head, and arranged perfectly. The Kitchen Manager, Chris Futrell, is a congenial guy who has gone out of his way to satisfy my cravings and serve top-notch food. The bar is well run, with 30+ draft beers and a full well of liquors, at prices comperable, or cheaper, than you find anywhere else on Broadway. The bartenders are cute and efficient, and the decor is top notch. The feeling Saturday night was not one of a generic bar, but of a backyard BBQ or party. I was lucky enough to catch up and comer Chris Jansen one night, and Reckless this past Monday; the bands add a perfect touch to the ""party"" ambience. The managers and staff are obviously well trained, and my hats off to owner Benjamin Goldberg. Visit Paradise Park soon, you won't be disapointed. Pros: Food, Service, Prices, Entertainment, $6 pitchers, Ambience, Staff, Hours of Operation Cons: Parking (as with anywhere downtown)
