Review content:
Mugsys's menu features surf and turf, American, and Italian cuisine. I've had it all and have to say my faves are the lasagna (huge portion) and the beer battered shrimp. \r

All the dinners come with AUCE breadsticks and salad with a carousel of dressings. You must try their honey French, it is addictive, even for dipping breadsticks.\r
\r
There is a lunch buffet which would be even better if you could count on a featured entree assigned for each day of the week. Nice dark romantic ambiance, bar with TVs to watch the games and a nice banquet room. Nice painted mural sporting the lights and old advertisements of Chicago back in the day of the gangsters--enter MJ Mugsy. \r
\r
I've been to many receptions in the banquet room and the waitresses there are personable and professional, quick and concise. Incidentally, every time my family comes, the waitresses know exactly what we are going to order and only verify with each of us. It's a great feeling. I highly recommend.
Pros: Outstanding food and service!
Cons: On street parking only which is limited.
