Review content:
I took my computer to be repaired and was told I would be contacted in a few days once the diagnosis was complete. A week later I hadnt heard from the company and decided I would call. I was told I needed a new hard drive. I approved the part to be ordered and work to be done. They estimated a week for the part to arrive and a few days from that point to be installed. Once the work was complete they would give me a call. A few weeks went by and I heard nothing. I decided I would stop in to check on the work. I arrived to an empty building. No signs posted telling customers they had moved. I called and was transferred to another office. The office said the phone lines had not been connected so they would take my name and number and call me back the next day. I was not called back the next day or even after many calls. I was finally told to go to the location, and I was finally given the address. They didn?t want to give out the address prior to that because they didn?t have power and couldn?t run the register. I arrived and was told they couldn?t find my laptop. They wanted to take my number and give me a call once it was located. I explained how I wasn?t called the many times before when I was told I would have my call returned. They said they had the phone lines working, but hadn?t bothered to plug in the phone. Not great business practices if you ask me. You cant move and not tell customers and once you do move, you should really plug in your phone. I actually did receive a call back when my laptop was found and then I was told the exact same info from the first time I had called. ?you are going to need a new hard-drive and ?? So in 6 weeks, nothing had been done to my computer. I was then charged $40 for all the ?work? they did. I highly recommend you go somewhere else. I later found out the company was fined for operating without a license and had ignored complaints. Please go to another repair shop.
Pros: Mom and Pop Store
Cons: Entire experience
