Note: The location for the Sailing Cow Cafe has changed. It is now located on Old Wharf Road in Dennisport. It's across the street from Glendon Road Beach.\r

This place is GREAT! Since they've changed location, and it's now a little off the beaten path, it's a real hidden gem.\r

We were immediately greeted by a person dressed in a cow costume in the parking lot. The kids LOVED that. As soon as we walked in the door, the hostess immediately came and welcomed us and showed us to our table. Two other staff people also said ""Hello"" as we walked in. Every seat in the restaurant has a beautiful view of Nantucket Sound. Now, this isn't a fancy place. Since it's across from the beach...very casual would be very dressy. We were all in shorts and fit right in. I'm sure during the day they get lots of beach attire too. The menu had an excellent selection of seafood, chicken and steak. There are also burgers and sandwiches to choose from. The children's menu contains all $5.00 meals. The adult menu features a large ""2 for $24"" section. Our waitress came promptly and took our drink order. She came back quickly with our drinks and talked about all the specials of the day. She was friendly and very knowledgeable about the selections. The meal started out with complimentary fresh corn bread...yummy! We ordered steak and shrimp. It was all cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. The portions were more than generous. Our waitress was very attentive through out the entire meal.\r

I would DEFINITELY recommend The Sailing Cow Cafe. The food, the staff and the view are something NOT to be missed!!!!
