I have read all of the reviews about Shell Lanes,i have bowled there for the last 10 years and never have i had a problem with the people at the desk,the ball returns are crap but the lanes are great and so are the leagues,wait time isnt bad.oh and there is no such thing as prejudicial lane assigmemts.you get whats available,as for the pole in the middle of lanes 8and 9,it dont bother me and if your good you shouldnt be bothered by it,they are getting ready to renovate the whole place,new lanes,seats and probably ball returns,this is a great place,oh yeah and for whoever said that a bunch of low-life local kids hang out there,i'm one of those local kids who has bowled there since i was 6,you dont like us stay the hell out of our bowling alley
