Dr. Filutowski is probably a very good cataract surgeon. However, be aware that you will not have cataract surgery in Orlando, you will have to go all the way to Lake Mary. But when you make an appointment for an Orlando eye exam and cataract evaluation, they will not tell you this. And their advertising/literature for cataract surgery is misleading. Their full-size six-page brochure has big pictures/maps of their 3 locations, with no indication that only 2 of these offer cataract surgery. Only when you read the six pages do they say: Full-service ambulatory surgical centers in Lake Mary and Daytona Beach. They still do not say Orlando offers ___ but not ___. What is the big deal? Lake Mary is too far for me (about 25 miles from their Orlando location), and because I did not discover this omission until more than a month after I made my appointment, I wasted my time waiting to see the doctor at Filutowski. Furthermore, Florida Statutes 458.331(d) makes misleading advertising grounds for disciplinary action of medical doctors.
