Review content:
Century theaters made an admirable splash in Tucson a few years ago with this and the El Con 20 theaters. At the time, they were state of the art and with THX certification, an independent quality assurance program that required periodic verification. They have since given up the THX certification, and what used to be a sure deal exhibition is now a crap shoot. It's time for a face lift, modernization of a couple of houses to digital projection, and return to THX of at least those houses.
Pros: Two big houses, Good screen systems, Good sound systems
Cons: No THX QA, No digital projection, Wear and tear
