Review content:
Upon moving into this rental property, reports were made to management about repairs that needed to be made; loose railing, toilet running, unable to open patio doors, leaky fridge, and absolutely FILTHY carpets!\r \r After reporting these isssues to management, they repaired the toilet and replaced the fridge. All of the other repairs were being checked off as completed, but never were. The carpets were shampood again.\r \r Ten months later we were still complaining about having to wear our shoes indoors to keep our feet clean, and other simple repair reports hadn't been solved. We filed a report, reporting their poor ability to maintain their property. Once management learned of this complaint they informed us that because of that they would not repair anything we had reported. We have an eleven-month old son that has to be fully dressed indoors to protect his feet from the dirty carpets.\r \r We received a letter the same week saying that since we seemed ""unhappy"" living there, that they refused to renew our lease. After going to speak with management, we informed them that we would not recommend anyone moving in without checking things over thoroughly. The manager physically assaulted my husband. We had to call authorities, and being in fear for our safety, move out the next week.\r Heatherwood Properties does not provide proper customer service, maintain their property appropriately, or handle customer complaints in a mature, professional manor. Pros: location and setting Cons: management's refusal to repair property
