My dad and I were seriously impressed by the collection of cars they have. Lots of very nice looking, but old Honda's with low mileage. Seemed like the perfect place to settle and make a decision. When we picked a car we checked it's vin and found that instead of the 66 thousand miles it said it had on it, the last reported mileage 1 year ago was 216 thousand. He wouldn't go down on price so we walked away, but not before grabbing one more vin on another Honda that said it had 43 thousand miles on it, only to find the last reported mileage was 167 thousand miles. However, the mileage changes were occurring at the auction they were buying them at, so who is really being scammed here? The consumer? Or the dealer trying to make a profit off of cars with amazingly low mileage? Either way, I won't be buying a car from them ever. I bet you more than half the cars on that lot have the same issue.
