Businiess name:  Tommy's Pizza

Review content:
Okay, 10 years ago I discovered Tommy's Pizza in Hammond and have not found any pizza since that even comes close to Tommy's. I was a transplant from Baton Rouge where I ate Greek food (and pizza) regularly - I was really craving Mediterranean flavors and someone mentioned Tommy's Greek pizza. I went, tried it, on thin wheat crust, and have been hooked ever since. Later on when I took my new boyfriend to Tommy's, he went straight for their version of the meat lovers pizza - called the Luna Rosa. That was awful - because from that point on, I could never choose between the Luna Rosa and the Greek! Tommy's sauce is uniquely sweet, making it far less acidic than what you find at most other places. They are very gracious with their toppings (pizzas are LOADED!), although we always order extra cheese on our pizzas. They have several yummy original pizzas, or your choice of creating your own (with added cost per topping). We never saw a need to experiment - the Luna Rosa and Greek pizzas cannot be beat. Oh, also, every time we went, we had to have our fried cheese ravioli appetizer (yum!). It helped us make it through the busier nights when the place was crowded. Pizzas are delivered to your table steaming hot, after about the right amount of time - not quick, but not too long either. SERVICE IS ALWAYS TIP TOP!\r Now I live in St. Gabriel and I haven't found a local (in Baton Rouge) pizza that compares to Tommy's. I am missing Tommy's Pizza so much that a trip to Hammond is in order regularly so I can get my Tommy's fix.\r Tommy, if you are reading this - open up a store in south Baton Rouge!!! Pros: Pizza is incomparable! Service is great! Cons: Only in Hammond and Ponchatoula
