I went to La Frite in Woodland Hills with a friend on Saturday night and all was well until we got the bill. My chicken dish was priced at $16.95 on the menu. I had asked the waiter what came with it (Mashed potatoes and vegetables) and I asked if I could just have all vegetables instead of the mashed potatoes and he said sure. So the bill comes and my entree is priced at $18.50 with a ""Add 1 item"" listed. So apparently they charge you extra if you want to change out your potatoes for some extra vegetables. I just find this incredibly outrageous and typical LA form. The waiter was great, and I certainly didn't take it out on him but it would have been nice if he mentioned it would have been an additional cost. Food was good but I probably won't go back.\r
