In the Tampa Bay Area, the most honest mechanic my family has trusted for over 20 years, is P & M Automotive. They're excellent, community-minded, good old-fashioned work ethics gentlemen that, at times, may be a little, and I stress, a ""little"" higher if that, than going to a chain mechanic, but you'll get it done right the first time and they will NEVER try to sell you something you absolutely do not need! They are always busy, but if you call them, they can usually get your vehicle in within 24 hours. You have an option of dropping your vehicle off and leaving your keys in a secure drop-box during late hours for them to get to the next day or so OR they'll tell you whether you'd be able to wait for it, if you'd like. They open at 7:00 a.m. in the morning. They are awesome!
Pros: Old Fashioned Work Ethics, Honest, Fast, Great Communication
Cons: If any, maybe, at times, a little higher priced, BUT DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!
