Review content:
Definitely enjoyed our dinner at Satterfield's. The waitress helped me pick out a great Sancerre and described it perfectly. Our ""Coddled Egg"" appetizer was excellent, and I would definitely recommend ordering it-just ignore the name. The egg yolk cooks the crawfish and vegetables. Well spiced and tasty-also not as heavy as I would have expected. My Escolar entree was perfect. It was cooked perfectly and the accompanying vegetables made for light, summery dish. My companion was pleased with the bacon-wrapped scallops. Definitely a man dish. He had the pear tart for dessert and I ordered bananas foster crepes. The setting was nice-cozy without feeling like you were sitting in the laps of the people at the next table. The noise level was nice-not too loud but bustling and happy. I would definitely recommend this-Satterfield's stands up to Ocean, Hot & Hot, and Daniel George and forms its own identity in a city filled with great restaurants. DON'T MISS DESSERT! One of the owner's is a pastry chef and the menu is to die for! Everything sounded amazing!\r
Pros: additional parking behind restaurant, open kitchen, great service, good wine list
Cons: very small patio (2 tables)
