Review content:
Yummy House is located in the Langley Shopping Center, along with Food Lion, Family Dollar, and other retail stores. My husband and I had a coupon for Yummy House. We thought we'd try something different. Boy, were we wrong! There were a few customers at a table and I asked them if they were enjoying their meal. They stated that the food was good. So, my husband and I sat down at a table, hoping that we had comparable tastebuds. A server asked us what we wanted to drink and if were were ready to place our order. We ordered fried flounder, fries, hush puppies, and cole slaw. The food was sooo greasy; I could not eat my food. The cole slaw tasted sour. We asked to speak to the owner. The Asian female owner came out and was very pleasant as we explained why we were not pleased with our food. We expressed how the cole slaw tasted sour. She stated that the slaw had been prepared the day before and that she does not add a lot of mayo to her slaw. She also would not honor the coupon because she stated that the coupon was only good for entrees and not lunch specials. We acquiesced, but we will not return to this food establishment. The food was truly yucky and not yummy! I would not recommend this restaurant...thumbs down!
