I don't know if friends of the owner are writing the reviews or what, because the reviews are so over the top complimentary it makes me extremely suspicious. Anyway, lets start with the food: You would be better off ordering the take away at a supermarket than eating here, and it would cost 1/3 of what you would pay at this shameless restaurant. The calamari was presented in a French Fri cone, letting all the grease drip out onto the table. Not to mention within the cone was a nest of full-bodied squid with long legs…it was disgusting. I expect to find a few of these creatures mingled in with the regular circular variety, but not the entire platter. My friend ordered a salad, which was basically a bag of spinach thrown into a bowl. The baked calamari’s sauce was weak and the filling was frozen or rancid, hard to tell. Regarding the overall atmosphere, the main host/manager was wearing jeans and a faded brown polo. I’m sorry but even if it is casual dining, can we please try to be a little professional? He was the only “waiter” serving a surprisingly busy restaurant. The décor was cheap with a terrible color scheme. Please save your money and avoid this place.
