While I am only an obsessed recreational-level rider, I was told by my massage therapist (who works with pro-level athletes), my personal trainer (who competes at the pro-level and trains both pro & Olympic level triathletes), and several fellow riding friends that ATA in Concord MA was THE place to go for a bike fitting. While prepping for a cross-country ride, I was reminded that getting the fit right was incredibly important. Riding day after day for 7 weeks with no real recovery time leaves very little margin of error for potential for leg, back, or shoulder injury. Listening to reason, my husband and I did go to ATA and met with Husam. His professionalism, knowledge , and use of technology was impressive. The changes he made on our bikes were substantial and we both scratched our heads a bit heading out of the shop. Any questions, however, were answered on our first rides. Increased power and less pain. The ultimate combination. We both rode cross-country without any injury or real pain (backsides excluded - these are bikes after all). Many, many thanks Husam!! Pros: Fitting based on experience, real measurements, and technology. No guess work. Cons: None.
