Review content:
This was one of the 1st stores I went to when I started looking for wedding dresses. Other stores came off as too snobby &/or didn't carry the gown I wanted. Jacq's did carry the gown I liked & also helped me in finding low-cost but very nice gowns for my girls (low cost was important since they were buying them). Buy purchasing my gownhere, I received a free tiara & free veil. My girls also received free bridal jewelry.\r
\r
However, everything else about the experience was stressful. \r
1) Even if I had an appointment, I had to stand around & wait for long periods of time to be helped. They have very few sales associates to help.\r
2) Jacqueline herself is quiet rude & contradictory. For example: when trying on veils, I found one I loved but it was in ivory, not white. She kept trying tp push other veils on me even if I didn't like them. She finally realized that wasn't working & agreed to order the veil I liked in white. She called me to confirm the veil would be with my gown for the final fitting. I was smart & save the voicemail! When my mother, Maid of Honor & Soon-to-be sis-in-law went for the final fitting, there was no veil! I asked Jacqueline about it & she claimed she never said she'd order it. (a good store owner would be doing what they could to fix the situation, esp after making a promise as she did)\r
3) The employees, including Jacqueline, are inappropriately dressed for the industry they are in. They dress more causal than my grandmother does on cleaning day! & no, that is not an exageration. All the other wedding dress stores I went to, everyone looked very professional. These women appeared to have been in a rush each morning & just grabbed some wrinkled stretched out clothing out of the hamper & tossed it on. Very unprofessional look\r
4) The store is in desperate need of updating. The rugs are in awfule shape, the layout is very hard to navigate & they have very few dressing rooms (big prob if there are multiple parties there)
Pros: Good gown selection (bridal & bridesmaid)
Cons: Poor Mother of __ selection, poor service, bad appearances
