Review content:
I researched this place well. I have 2 dogs that I love and want the best for as most owners do. I was willing to travel 1 hr south of the cities for the best outdoor experience. I checked it out by myself, brought the pups for a personality test and then boarded them a separate day to test the waters. 3 times in total for visits. I they planned a trip out of town for 3 days. The owner knew I would be there and when I showed up all the dogs were out and NO ONE WAS THERE. When I called her, she was running late picking up dogs. An employee called in sick right before her shift (the day after Halloween, just saying) and wasn't available. Her husband is the back up and first was ""out getting smokes"" and then... ""out with their dog at the vet"" I was there 1 hour waiting with no one there. All the dogs running around were apparently ""regulars"" but they would not stop humping my dogs, so we left. I was given the impression that they took care of the animals above all else. The owner did fess up to this happening a few times before. Their lack of communication, a back up plan and the fact that getting smokes is an allowable excuse to leave your clients dogs unattended make me so angry. The owner also did not call me to make me aware of the situation... so I wasted 2 hours getting there and back plus I did not go on vacation. THANKFULLY I FOUND OUT BEFORE I LEFT MY DOGS THERE.
