Over a year ago, I called close to every hair salon in Tigard, Beaverton and Tualatin looking for somewhere inexpensive for a cut and weave. In Style was the least expensive. I was extremely nervous to try it, thinking it would be an ""old lady"" salon considering the cost and location.
Leon is attentive and thorough. He is young and friendly and takes the time needed to achieve what I want. A couple of times he has cut my hair shorter than what I thought I wanted but after styling it at home I was happier with the results than my ideas.
Word must be catching on because they seem busier than last year but it is still easy to make an appointment for the same week. He will need to figure out how to handle the increased volume as my appointment this past week took quite a bit longer than usual. He was trying to stagger two weaves and I had to wait to finish the cut while he attended to rinsing the other person.
The other stylist there is Leon's brother and customers I have seen there seem to be satisfied when they leave, although he is no where near as busy as Leon.
Pros: Friendly, thorough, inexpensive, same week appointment
Cons: starting to get busier, appointments take longer
