Review content:
I ate at Picco in late October with a group of eleven, purely by accident, after the nearby Lark Creek Inn lost our reservation. It ended up being wonderful serendipity. The folks at Picco were so accommodating and gracious, both the hostess and our server were professional and friendly. Our server especially, she was among the best I've encountered--knowledgeable about the menu, fun, and impeccable in guiding a big group into the right combination of small plates. And the food! Everyone absolutely raved about the dishes, there were plenty of choices for vegetarians, and we got fabulous wine recommendations too. We ordered a good sampling of the appetizers and small plates, and they were all delicious, but the risotto of the day (the best and freshest restaurant risotto I've had) and the spinach ravioli brought conversation to halt. None of our dishes disappointed. Don't miss dessert either, we sampled at least half the options, and it was hard to pick a favorite.
Pros: Everything
Cons: None, except that I don't live close enough to eat there more often
