Review content:
It's really hard to find an authentic mexican restaurant - especially in Orange County. When my family and I ate here for the first time 6 years ago, we were really impressed. For me, I can usually tell if the food will be good if the chips & salsa are tasty. They were and the food was even better. Since I'm vegetarian now, I no longer order taquitos, tacos, or fajitas like I used to. I usually order whatever I used to eat without the meat & frijoles de la olla instead of the refired beans (the sope is my favorite). My dad swears by the steak picado & menudo and my mom usually orders the beef tacos or cheese enchiladas. The menu offers a large selection and plates are anywhere from around $6/$7 on up...a meal for two is usually around $20. The founders of ""Campo's"" (an older married couple) can be seen hanging around from time to time and are always very friendly. This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites.
Pros: Good Service, Great Prices, Awesome Food
Cons: The crowds on the weekends. I usually try to get there at 11, when it opens.
