Review content:
This is a timeshare masquerading as a hotel. We got a two-bedroom studio and it was less than basic. No shampoo, no hair dryer. The bathroom tub is a small jacuzzi, and seemed rather creepy. Not the cleanest place. There were two bedrooms separated by a hallway containing the bathroom. The air conditioner is only in the back bedroom, and the front room has slatted shades so light is let in all night. There is no maid service unless you pay extra. The TV sounded like it had a blown speaker. We could not make the first night of our reservation, but there was no one manning the front desk after 6, so no way to cancel. The worst part, absolutely unforgivable, was that the check-out is a FIRM 10 a.m. If you're going to the horse races, as we were, you're homeless for two hours until the gates open. Just ridiculous. The restaurant out back is fantastic; eat but don't stay. I can't imagine trying to cram a family into these small rooms.
Pros: On the lake, great restaurant
Cons: Non-existent service, small rooms, STUPID check out time
