Review content:
I took my girl in with an ear infection. We got her yes from a puppy mill situation and she had not been treated well there. Her spirit was broke and she yet she is docile and sweet as can be. \r
\r
When we came in the girl at the front was very sweet but after being there for a few minutes my girl noticed people (as what dog doesn’t?) walking around. She loves a good belly rub and when she sees someone and they don’t stop to give her one she barks. So to barking she went…the lady behind the counter immediately started saying something about her being aggressive and got “nervous”. I told her “Are you kidding. She’s barking. That is it. She is not going to do anything. “ Immediately my girl started hiding behind me. She starts insisting she is aggressive for barking….all because she is a German shepherd. With no German shepherd instincts. I mean seriously she allows children to pull on her ears and run all over her. She tries to take raccoons that are ready to rip her apart toys. This is a totally docile dog. \r
\r
They took her in the back with me. SHE LICKED the second girls hand and that girl said I think I’d best put a muzzle on her! AND THEY DID for licking her?. Now my girl is shaking so bad it is more than noticeable. She has her tailed tucked and looks terrified. I tried to comfort her by holding her head and talking softly to her. She tired to lick me (her way of comforting herself) which she could not do due to the muzzle. This pisses me off there was NO reason to put it on her NONE!\r
\r
We go to leave and a lady walked in with a smaller dog about 10lbs who was growling and snarling at me and my girl. My girl just looked at her and sat down doing nothing. The owners were LAUGHING! The lady comes out and says “How are you today.” and can’t go near it. No comments about aggression no muzzle. \r
\r
Then they got an attitude with me because they pulled 3 dead fleas off of her and I didn’t have $85 to pay for their flea control. Seriously! She is on flea medicine that is why the 3 fleas were dead! We live in FL of course there are fleas. I’ve never seen so many fleas in my life as here! They are called sand fleas and what is FL made up of? Oh what’s that sand?!\r
\r
I will not be going back for the check up! And if I had seen these reviews first I would not had taken her here to start with!
