We recently moved from the Fresno area of CA to Little Rock AR. We were quite nervous about having to move again since the three other moves that we experienced in the past 5 years were distressing to say the least. We had to move an entire shop filled with very valuable equipment as well as our home and a car. We called Presto Logistics and the manager, Abe came to give us an estimate. He was very professional and courteous and told us that the price he gave us would be the actual price. No hidden cost and no surprises! That was a welcome sound to our ears since we were charged $3000 extra on our last move! After the crew came to load the items in the shop we decided to store them until the closing date. Three days before closing the packing crew came to our house and boxed up everything that was going to AR. We had many valuables that we were especially worried about such as paintings and antiques, but they packed them expertly. My roof had leaked during a torrential downpour that day and a crewmember named Mitch helped me lay all of our precious family photos out to dry. Without him I would have lost most of them! I also liked the fact that the driver was there at all times to pack and supervise the crew. Clarence was truly a professional and treated our possessions as if they were his own. We had some major snags just as we were supposed to ship out- our closing date on the new house was postponed a week and we had already closed on our old house! I was so worried about what would happen to our belongings, but Abe (the manager) said that they would store them and it would be no problem. Another glitch came up right before the expected ship out date and we had to postpone AGAIN! Even though the whole crew was ready to go, Abe again said it would be no problem to store the items which put me at ease. Once they got to our new house (exactly on time), the crew unpacked our things and placed our furniture. They had laid out runners and protection to guard our floors and even swept them as well as our garage when they finished! Talk about service! All of our things (except for a minor, repairable chip on a speaker)made it safely to AR! It might seem like a lot to pay for a move, but keep in mind that we had 2 eighteen wheelers packed full. We also had our things both packed and unpacked as well as stored for 1 month on the shop and 2 weeks on the house! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
