High marks for Worth Street Vet and Dr. DiPolo. You know that doctor that you see on ""Lassie"" re-runs, or imagine when you see a Norman Rockwell painting, or the caring Vet that would emerge if Frank Capra was directing how a vet would treat you and your pet??...Dr. DiPolo is the guy. We stumbled upon him about 6 months back to do house-calls for acupuncture for our aging pooch. From the start, he cared for her as much as we did, and most importantly, our questions and over-concerns were never met with anything but generosity and caring. All of that translated to the Worth Street Center about 6 months later when our sweet girl came down with sever kidney problems. Lucy had to stay with him for four days which was heart-breaking and difficult for us, and her...he cared for her wonderfully, including playing music for her during the night. Lucy has had a wonderful recovery, and Dr. DiPolo continues to care for her from afar as we moved back to Los Angeles. I don't know that I could come up with a better feeling about the Worth Street Vet Center. We had to be very active parents, with hip surgeries, pain management, stem-cell therapy, and ultimately kidney issues. We have experienced many many vets over the years. Dr. DiPolo is a breed all to rare. Pros: service, bed-side manner
