Review content:
My friends and I used to love coming here. Quiet atmosphere, tasteful decor, excellent fondu and entrees. But over the last few months of dealing with staff that are drunk or otherwise under the influence, we have decided the pros of the Gingerman do not come close to outweighing the cons. The last time we were in, the manager (who is part of the owner's family) was visibly drunk and when she wasn't sitting at the bar she was visiting tables and slurring her words. That same night we had the (dis)pleasure of a waitress I will call ""Blondie"", she was rude and treated us as if we were wasting her time. She also disappeared for over half an hour, the other employees treated this as normal behavior, and when she did return she acted a little out of it and had what we hope was flour on her upper lip.
Not all of the employees are like this, but as i said the Bad definitely outweighs the Good. A shame this was really a great establishment that we happily supported.
Alas, no more.
Pros: Awesome Location, Great food, Great wine
Cons: rude (intoxicated) waitress, customer service
