Review content:
My sister's car broke down on New Year's Eve. She waited two days and took it to Brother's Automotive on referral from a couple of friends. She asked them to look at the car and call her. They called her days later and referred her to a DEALERSHIP. That in itself would be fine, except when she went to have it towed to Ty's Automotive (Edgerton), they said here's a bill for $175, pay it to get your car. Without permission, they changed the spark plugs that didn't need to be changed, and changed the oil valve cover which also didn't need to be changed. She paid the balance just to get her car. The same day she had it towed to Ty's, she got answers. Brother's Automotive flooded her spark plugs, flooded the oil with gas, and installed the valve cover incorrectly causing it to crack. The real problem was the ignition module. \r With this new information, and $600 later my father went down to talk to Brother's Automotive. He asked asked that they refund HALF of what my sister paid because they didn't have permission to fix anything, and caused more damage. They refused. My parents/sister are now in the process of contacting the Better Business Bureau. If that doesn't work, then they will take them to small claims court. \r My mom promised the people of Brother's Automotive that we would tell everyone what happened to help prevent anyone else be put in the same situation.
