Review content:
Golds advertised a Labor Day Special of $25/month with no contract. I was leaving town, but stopped by to take advantage of the offer. Their salesman sat down wasting more than an hour of my time doing a hard sell for their personal trainer program. I repeatedly asked him if this was necessary for the special rate/membership. He dd not answer but kept pushing. Finally talked me into trying it - could cancel if unhappy. I had also been told I could have a female trainer or my choice of trainers, capable of dealing with IT issues and other health problems. When I came back from my trip, the only person available to train with was an inexperienced 20 year old. Upon complaining and trying to talk to management, I was hung up on, then told I only had three days to cancel. This large company has shown both unprofessional behavior and desperation for money. MY RECOMMENDATION GO TO LIFETIME FITNESS OR ANYTIME FITNESS AND AVOID GOLDS!!!!!
