Review content:
Guy shows up at the door frantic. His truck broke down and he HAS to get rid of all these cases of steaks and chicken. I don't usually fall for this stuff, but for some reason I was totally bamboozled. Five minutes after he left with check in hand I started feeling very sick. I went to the USDA website and found out for food purchased from door to door salesmen, you have 3 days to change you mind. It's called a cooling off law because usually these salemen use high pressure techniques targeting shut ins, elderly etc. I cancelled the check before he had a chance to cash it. It helped that he didn't show up at my house until after the banks had closed. But he was trying to cash it minutes after I had put a stop payment on it the next morning. When he called I explained the situation. He was very nice and came a little later on and picked up the food. So I do give kudos to them for that. I can't attest to the quality since I never got far enough in the transaction to actually eat any of the steaks. But that broken down truck story alone should be enough to turn you off. I urge everyone to go to the USDA website. There is a wealth of tips and information on this subject. I think if I had paid cash, I would not have been so lucky. \r
Pros: Was able to return meat with not a lot of hassel.
Cons: Very high pressure sales. Literally didn't know what hit me
